THE SYMBOLISM OF THE RUYI CLOUD
Decorated with stylised ruyi clouds, the present cigarette case features one of the most auspicious motifs in Chinese decorative art.
Long associated with the hope that all may occur in accordance with one’s wishes, the ruyi cloud symbolises prosperity, good fortune and the fulfilment of aspirations.
