The independent Geneva-based brand ArtyA has donated this impressive unique timepiece to support the work of the ELA Association.
Participating in the inaugural edition of Watches for ELA in 2024 was a natural choice for ArtyA. As a creator of unique pieces by nature, the Maison dedicates its art to the noblest causes. It is therefore with deep conviction that ArtyA renews its commitment to the European Association against Leukodystrophies.
Damascus Titanium Case
TiDamas, an alloy of Grade 2 and Grade 5 titanium, is a material prized for its lightness, durability and unique aesthetic. Its surface reveals shimmering, colourful patterns created through a heat-treatment process applied to two types of titanium that react differently to heat. In addition to being corrosion- and scratch-resistant, TiDamas combines elegance with performance, making it the perfect choice for luxury watches that blend technology and art.
Enamel Dial
As the centrepiece of the timepiece, the dial has also benefited from the artistic craftsmanship of the Geneva-based manufacture. Crafted from enamel, it features a blue hue that is as deep as it is elegant. Expert skeletonisation work has also been carried out to subtly reveal the chronograph movement.
Chronograph Calibre
To power this unique piece, the Swiss automatic Valjoux 7750 chronograph movement was selected as the foundation for ArtyA’s skeletonisation work. It is a calibre offering precision and refined craftsmanship, belonging to the ‘Luminity’ collection.
With a generous 48-hour power reserve, it provides sufficient autonomy for even the most extreme activities requiring a precision timing instrument. The impressive, decorated rotor remains a key feature, visible beneath the ‘Watches for ELA’ logo applied to the sapphire crystal caseback of this unique piece.
