The Rêves de Panthères is a watch that transforms the reading of time into a poetic performance. Three sculpted panthers—their bodies rendered in black lacquer—sit with their backs turned to the viewer, gazing outward as if observing the passage of celestial bodies.

At the heart of the dial is Cartier’s in-house Calibre 9916 MC, which drives a unique day/night indication . A disc alternates between sun and moon, rising and disappearing in an astral dance. As the sun progresses past 6 o’clock, it slowly vanishes, and the moon reappears on the opposite side, marking the arrival of night . The three panthers remain still throughout, their lacquered vertebrae catching the light—silent observers of this changing sky.
