Reference 2531 is a rectangular wristwatch produced by Patek Philippe from 1952 through the latter half of the 1950s. The silvered dial is dressed with applied gold baton indexes and a subsidiary seconds dial, while the case, measuring 26 x 37 mm, retains its distinctive bombé lateral sides and teardrop lugs. Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives confirming the year of manufacture in 1953, the present watch represents a scarce opportunity to acquire one of Patek Philippe's most architecturally distinctive post-war creations.
