A Japanese gilt bronze tapering oviform koro and pierced cover with dragon finial, above a multi faceted mid section and three stylised dragon feet, decorated in relief with a coiled dragon among clouds above styilsed ho-o and further panels of coiled dragons, the details inlaid in silver, copper and gilt -- 19¼in. (49cm) high.
