of baluster form and on a rising circular foot, chased and embossed with friezes of fruit, flowers, foliage and C-scrolls and with two patched cartouches engraved with crests, the rising curved spout chased with a vignette of a cottage surrounded by trees, the fluted scroll handle enhanced with foliage, the chased domed hinged cover with flower finial, probably William Sherwin, Dublin 1836 - 10¼in. (26cm.), 32oz.
