A pair of Kutani baluster vases painted and gilt with a continuous scene of a peacock and hen among peonies and blossoming branches, the necks with ho-o and karashishi panels on dense foliage ground -- 13in. (33cm.) high, (one with two pieces broken and restuck to neck.)
