Two 18th Century cream jugs
of pear shape, one on trefoil feet and with a shaped rim and leaf-capped double scroll handle, the body chased with spiral fluting, flowers and foliage and engraved with a crest, maker's mark indistinct, London 1761 - 4¼in. (10.75cm.), the other example gilt-lined and on shell, scroll and hoof feet, with a shaped rim and leaf-capped double scroll handle, the body chased with rococo flowers, foliage and C-scrolls engraved with a crest, marks indistinct.
