the elaborate waisted case with oval porcelain panel to the top painted with the portrait of a lady, within swag mounts, with stiff leaf mounts to the sides and laurel mounts to the front, with panel depicting cherubs to the front, the dial with individual gilt Roman chapters and scene of flying Cupid to the centre, on block feet with flowehead mounts, the twin barrel movement with strike on bell -- 18¼in. (46.5cm.) high
