A pair of Derby groups
No.78 and No.81, the first modelled as a young woman havng a shoe fitted by an attendant, the second as a young man (right hand replaced) having his shoes blacked by a maid, each before tree stump on pierced and scroll moulded base, painted in colours and gilt, iron red mark, incised numbers -- 18cm. high, circa 1820 (minor chips to extremities)
