the first an Onslow pattern example engraved with a monogram and with feather-edged handle, incompletely marked, probably circa 1770, the second a Regency example with engraved shaped circular bowl, the waisted handle engraved with initials, London 1814, the third a Victorian example, the reverse of the foliate-struck handle engraved with a monogram, Exeter, the date letter indistinct, the last an example with carved ivory handle, the reverse of the waisted bowl engraved with initials, Birmingham 1859.
