Eventaille Automatique, a fan, the leaf of blue silk petal shaped panels, with wooden sticks, mounted on a turned bone handle with autmatic opening mechanism, opened by sliding a mother of pearl handle, stamped Brevete SGDG - 11in. (29cm.), circa 1859; and seven other fans including and early 18th century fan with tortoiseshell guardsticks, cloute with mother of pearl; and a Japanese cabriolet fan (8)
