the tapering case surmounted by the figure of a woman leaning against a pillar and holding a bird nest, the white enamel Roman dial (cracking near XII) with rubbed signature for HRY MARC PARIS and steel moon hands, the twin train movement with strike on bell and repeat stamp to the backplate -- 17¼in. (44cm.) high; and a silvered spelter and black slate striking mantel clock, surmounted by two cherubs, the dial signed LEROY A PARIS, the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell -- 14¾in.
