the case with brass handle to bell top and pineapple finials to the angles, on block feet, with arched glazed panels to the sides and gilt-painted pierced frets above the door, the silvered dial signed John Gibson London in the arch, with Roman and Arabic chapter ring, alarm disc to the centre and steel lozenge hands, the single wire fusee movement with verge escapement and pull wind alarm, with strike alarm on two bells via two hammers, adaptations -- 13½in.
