in the George III taste, of shaped oval form and on a rising oval foot, pierced with geometric decoration and chased with paterae, drapery swags and stylised scrolling foliage, both the foot and the body with gadroon borders, Gibson & Langman, London 1898, also engraved with a retailer's name and address: "Goldsmiths Company, 112 Regent Street" - 12½in. (31.75cm.), 32oz.
