of shaped oblong form and on shell and foliate feet, with a moulded border, two pen rests and a central wafer box with contemporary presentation inscription, the top formed as a shaped circular taperstick with scroll handle, the glass inkwell and the pounce pot of moulded circular form and cut with stylised stiff foliage, each with detachable silver cover, Joseph & John Angell, London 1839 - 7¼in. (18.50cm.)
