of oblong form and on scrolling foliate feet, with beaded borders, a pen rest, two hob-nail pattern cut glass square inkwells with hinged covers, and a central baluster taperstick, the gallery pierced and engraved with swags and paterae, the ground engraved with stylised foliage with a crest in the centre, Martin Hall & Co., Sheffield 1868 - 11in.
