From the Helène Stathatos Collection Exhibited in 1963, Collection Helène Stathatos, Les Objets Byzantins et Post-Byzantins. The catalogue entries for the Greek Island embroideries and foreword were written by the former Head of the Victoria & Albert Museum's Textiles and Dress Collections, A J B Wace. The museum's outstanding collection of Greek embroideries was assembled under his stewardship.
