Lot Essay

Three of the Swiss views depict local chalets in Grindelwald, Wilderswil, and Oberhasli, one view is of the Wetterhorn in Grindelwald, another shows the promenade from Meiringen to Reichenbach, all in the Bern canton. The three other engravings are entitled "Le Maronier et le chien turc du grand Sst. Bernard à la découverte," "Prison du Château de Chillon," and "Vue du Château de Chillon."
