A French 19th Century oil and vinegar cruet
of oblong form, the base pierced and engraved with foliage similar to the previous lot and on lion's mask and paw feet, the two openwork tapering circular bottle holders with quiver and arrow supports joined by bows and flowers and with foliate and berry everted rims, the elaborate central handle formed as a tapering column supported by two putti, the fluted and beaded upper part with drapery swags, the grip decorated with foliage enhanced with hound's heads, the uppermost section with female masks, fitted with two cut glass oil and vinegar bottles with scroll handles, Paris 1819-1838 - height of cruet 12¾in.
