A China Trades late 19th Century composite tea and coffee service,
each piece chased with bamboo on spot-hammered grounds and with bamboo-style spouts, handles and finials, comprising: a rounded oblong two-handled tray with central vacant cartouche - 22½in. (57cm.) overall, a compressed spherical teapot, lidded sugar basin and cream jug, the latter two pieces gilt-lined, a similarly-shaped swing-handled tea kettle on a stand with burner, a baluster coffee pot, a tea strainer on stand and a pair of sugar tongs, various dates and makers, the tea kettle on stand 12in. (30.50cm.) overall, 168.50oz.
