An interesting collection of Russian flatware,
comprising: nine various teaspoons with spiral-twist stems and baluster finials, the reverses of the bowls, mainly fig-shaped, nielloed with architectural vignettes including views of St. Basil's Cathedral and The Kremlin, two further teaspoons, the reverses of the fig-shaped bowls nielloed with stylised foliage, a set of ten teaspoons with hexagonal stems, baluster terminals and plain fig-shaped bowls, three larger spoons with spiral-twist stems and baluster terminals, one engraved with a sentiment, flowers and foliage around a vacant cartouche, another bright-cut with flowers and foliage and partially-gilt, the third engraved with a spray of flowers and foliage, four plain fiddle pattern teaspoons, a fiddle pattern sifting spoon engraved with initials with a coronet above, a similarly-engraved tablespoon, and a similarly-engraved table knife with steel blade, various dates and makers - weight excluding table knife 26.50oz.
