of plain tapering form and on a spreading foot, with a shell-chased and leaf-capped rising curved spout, polished wood double scroll handle and flattened domed hinged cover with baluster finial, one side engraved with a slightly later armorial within a rococo cartouche, Joseph Smith, London 1739 - 9in.
