A large Imari charger painted and gilt with a central flowerhead roundel with a vase of flowers within butterfly cartouches, the border with shaped panels of peonies issuing from rockwork on a dense ground of flowerheads and foliage -- 21¾in. (55.2cm) diam, 18th century, (restored).
