A famille rose tankard painted and gilt with a panel of figures in a rocky landscape and birds on blossoming branches on an underglaze blue whorl pattern ground reserved and moulded with butterflies and peonies -- 5¾in. (14.5cm) high, (handle restored); and another famille rose tankard with a lady and boy in a fenced garden on a ground of scattered fruit and flowersprays -- 5¼in. (13.2cm) high, (rim nibbles), both 18th century.
