A Cantonese bowl and dish made for the Persian market painted and gilt with roundels dated 1297 AH on grounds of alternating panels of dignitaries on terraces and birds and butterflies among flowers on purple gold scroll grounds -- the bowl 14in. (35.5cm.), the dish 14½in. (37cm.) diam, wood stands, (both damaged.)
