A detailed wooden display model of a Royal Naval Armed Pinnace of circa 1803, built by W.T. Elwell with mast, rigging and stitched lateen sail, the hull, triple planked in lime and walnut is fitted with fore and aft lockers, bottom boards, gratings, thwarts and oars, brass gun in slides with tackle, shot, cartridges and appropriate firing equipment, water and rope tubs, swivel guns, tiller, rudder, binnacle, anchor and other details, finished in white and matt varnish -- 19 x 25½in.
