the case with flat-top hood with glazed side panels, brass-capped pilasters, the square-top trunk door with concave mouldings, on block plinth, the brass dial with silvered disc to the arch signed Samuel Johnson London within dolphin spandrels, mask and foliate spandrels to the silvered chapter ring with matted centre, subsidiary seconds ring and date aperture, the five pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement; some losses to veneers, associated -- 87½in.
