the case with brass-capped swan-neck pediment to the hood, outset fluted columns, inverted breakarch top to the trunk door flanked by three-quarter columns, raised panel to the plinth with wavy skirting, the white dial with painted reserve of a child with a dog to the arch, floral spandrels, with subsidiary seconds and date rings (distressed), the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement; replaced seat and cheek boards -- 91in. (231cm.) high
