A small silver gilt, enamel and pearl set open faced cylinder watch for the Chinese market, Bovet fleurier, circa 1860, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, signed with gilt Chinese characters and numbered 703, centre seconds, profusely chased and engraved signed gilt movement, glazed cuvette, case with pearl set bezel, border and bow, the back cover decorated with an enamel of a young lady against a translucent red background over an engine turned ground, diameter 33mm.
