Album containing twelve salt prints, seven approx. 3½ x 3 in. and five 10¼ x 14½ in., twenty albumen prints including a two-part panorama, 7¼ x 19¼ in., other sizes from carte-de-visite to 9½ x 7½ in. or the reverse, several titled in pencil on mounts; with one over-painted photographic portrait, 7 x 5 in., signed [?]Margaritis... on mount, seven watercolour costume studies, each approx. 10¼ x 7¼ in., and a quantity of lithographic views and architectural studies, variously mounted, half maroon morocco, ruled in gilt, folio.

Including five large format architectural studies of Athens, a panoramic view of the harbour at Valletta; views of the Governor's Palace at Grand Harbour, Malta; Fort St. Angelo; 'Quarantine Harbour', 'Palace of Old Knights'; a group portrait of young boys playing marbles, possibly taken in Edinburgh; and several portrait and costume studies.
