Portraits include Chinese actors, 'natives of Korea', 'Arthur C. Woods Sub Lieut.', Shinto priests, men at a well, 'Governor Nagasaki', three portraits of Ainos, ' Maggie Hogg & Amach', 'S.R. Krga', geisha, 'Japanese warrior'; a temple study and view of a pagoda.

One of the subjects credited to Ye-Chung is the well-known image of two men transporting a pig in a Chinese-style wheelbarrow illustrated in Goodrich and Cameron, The Face of China as seen by Photographers and Travelers 1860-1912, p. 104.
