A tapering miniature vase painted and gilt with panels of ladies and children on terraces and in pavilions variously playing musical instruments, flower arranging and practicing calligraphy, all on a dark brown ground reserved with flowers and geometric designs -- 3½in. (9cm.) high, signed Kinkozan; and a bottle vase with boys at play, noh actors and street entertainers -- 4½in. (11.5cm.) high, signed Kinzan.
