The trifrucating and scrolling branches cast with leafy ornament, supporting tiered candle sockets and drip pans, issuing from an open baluster-shaped column of tripartite section, the lower tier centred by a gadrooned urn flanked by floral sprays, the frame cast with futher foliate and floral ornament with scalloped crestings below a conforming corona

The present chandelier is based around the design of Caffiéri's chandelier, currently hanging in the Bibliothéque Mazarine, Paris.
