A rare Steiff 'Teddy-Clown' bear
with beige tipped cream mohair, large brown and black glass eyes, pronounced clipped snout, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, long jointed shaped limbs, cream felt pads, hump, original felt clown hat with blue pom-poms, cream and blue ruff and button in ear --19in. (48cm.) tall, circa 1926 (slight overall fading to mohair, small moth hole to left paw and foot pad, growler inoperative)
