A late 18th/early 19th century inkstand,
of boat shape and on scroll feet, with a beaded and engine-turned pierced gallery, and fitted with a beaded circular inkwell cover, a wafer box and pounce box decorated with narrow wrigglework friezes, the first two with domed covers and pinecone finials, marks Untraced, possibly Spanish or Italian - 10in. (25.5cm), 21oz.
