A Japanese ivory circular box and flattened cover, the finial with three seated Immortals with coiled dragons chasing flaming pearls, the sides applied in gilt bronze and carved with figures in a bamboo grove at various activities before huts -- 4½in. (11.5cm.) diam, signed on a gilt and red lacquer tablet and sealed on a green stained ivory tablet.
