A well engineered model single cylinder hopper cooled R.L.E. open crank petrol engine built by V. Naylor with cylinder 1¼in. bore x 2in. stroke, gear, cam and pushrod operated exhaust valve, spark plug, fuel tank, carburettor, exhaust pipe silencer, the 'crankcase' with brass plate embossed and stamped 'The R.L.E. Allyn Foundry Wrexham Engine No. 254', twin flywheels and shaft governor, finished in grey, red and polished brightwork and mounted on a wood plinth with concealed coil, battery terminals and switch -- 12½ x 14¼in.
