An unusual sampler worked in coloured wools, mainly in shades of red, blue green, pink and ivory, with silk and appliqué details, the centre inscribed "Saint Anns Cross, F Wild III, Aged 63", the top with a row of red brick cottages on which perch birds, the bottom with spot motifs including peacocks, soldiers, dogs and sheep, within a stylised floral border--84 x 66cm., mounted, mid 19th century??
