A sampler by Susanna Hambly 1807 worked in coloured silks with cross stitch, the top half with alphabets, the lower half with the verse "What's right and good"--34 x 41cm., framed and glazed; and another by Ann Soulsby 1830, worked in brightly coloured wools with the line "Prepare to meet thy God" surrounded by flowers, framed by spot motifs including peacocks and baskets of flowers, within a stylised floral border--38 x 52cm., framed (2)
