A Chinese export armorial octagonal plate painted and gilt with a central crest enclosing an oak tree below a pair of wings, a dexter hand above suspending a pair of scales, the crest bearing the motto 'Probitate Consilium Perficitur', all within borders of chain pattern and scattered flowers -- 8½in. (21.5cms) wide, Qianlong, (small areas of rim restoration).
