An unusual and fine 19th-Century nickel-plated brass, ivory and bone ovarian tumour remover,
signed Bergamini, the conical blade enclosed within a sectional closing debris scoop, with stained and natural ivory grip, and bone handle with pointer indicating quarter, half, three-quarter and fully shut positions (handle chipped with loss) -- 12½in. (32cm.) long.
