A gilt metal mounted Samson bowl and cover
the porcelain moulded with ozier rims, painted with loose sprays of flowers among scattered sprigs, the finial formed as a finch above a stump trailing stems and flowers, underglaze blue marks, the mounts formed as a pierced beaded rim applied with four goat's heads above feet terminating in hooves, the square shaped base supporting a burning brazier, on four feet, late 19th/20th century (minor chips to finial) -- 31cm. high
