Two Meissen candlestick groups
emblematic of Autumn modelled as a standing Bacchant holding grapes and garlanded with vines and attended by putto, and Winter as an old man wearing fur lined robes beside a fire and attended by putto, each with branch and leaf moulded stems and drip sconces, on rocky mounds above circular bases moulded with a guilloche band, blue crossed swords marks, incised numerals, Presnummern, late 19th century (some minor damages and restoration) -- 29.5cm. high
