A pair of Chinese tapering octagonal vases and reticulated covers with moulded rope twist handles and borders of squirrels among trailing vines, painted with panels of carp among aquatic weeds above cell pattern feet -- 10½in. (26.6cms) high, (one with rim chip, one cover broken and restuck).
