modelled as a pair of oval baskets supported on flower encrusted rockwork, a man and woman, fashionably dressed, holding open the covers, a hound at their feet, on pierced scroll moulded bases enriched with gilding, gold anchor mark to reverse of rockwork, circa 1760 (minor damages and restoration) -- 19cm. high
