A George Jones majolica jar and cover
cylindrical, moulded with basket weave pattern in pale blue between yellow ropetwist rims, the cover fomed as a lobster resting on a bed of foliage, the interior in lilac, the base in tortoise-shell glazes, circa 1870 (the cover ground with a spoon recess, minor chip) -- 12cm. high; a pottery dish modelled as two frogs on a leaf, probably Continental; and a majolica pot and fixed stand, probably an ink pot or chamberstick (damages)
