An Indian dagger with watered steel blade, decorated in gilt damascene with cartouches of flowers, scrolling foliage and mythical beasts, the Chinese ivory handle carved in the Moghul style in the form of a horase's head with floral decoration, inset with turquoise and gems -- 15¾in. (40cms) long overall, velvet scabbard, (some inlay missing).
