the case with waisted pediment surmounted by an ovoid finial, decorated overall with foliate sprays, on cabriole legs, with oval glazed panel below the white enamel Roman dial with Arabic five minutes (some chipping), the blued hands with stylised flowerhead mounts, both within bezels cast with quatrefoils and opening to the same catch, the twin barrel movement with anchor escapement and strike on gong -- 24¼in. (61.5cm.) high; and the bracket en suite; Swiss, mid 19th century -- 9in. (23cm.) high
