the arched case with foliate carving and inlay, glazed tracery sound frets to the sides below ring handles, on rectangular base with gadrooned border and brass ball feet, the white painted dial (some chipping) with strike/silent adjustment above XII, the twin wire fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell, the backplate with leaf engraved border, with conforming decoration to the pendulum, and signed Wright WATFORD -- 17¾in. (45.5cm.) high; and an associated mahogany wall bracket -- 13¾in. (35cm.) wide
